If you are able, your sponsored child would love to receive a Christmas gift from you. Receiving a Christmas gift is very special for your child as it is likely to be the only gift they will receive. I always love seeing the photos and letters from children as they express their joy at receiving their gift.
All you need do is deposit the Christmas money into the account you normally give into and put for a reference “Christmas gift for child”. An email to me letting me know the amount you have given does speed the process up. The amount recommended is between £30 and £50 / $30 and $50.
We ask for gifts to be given by the 17th October
If you are unable to give a gift, a letter from you would also bring a smile to your child’s face. Again, just email me a letter and I will ensure this is passed along.
Back to school gifts
The school year in Africa begins in January. If you wish to supply your child with school uniform or a backpack and stationary, please give towards this by January 16th. The recommended amount to give is between £30 – £50 or $30-$50.
