Another boy is not able to live with his parents as they are alcoholics. His aunt who he lives with is very grateful for his sponsor’s kindness. The clothes, books and toys make a huge difference in this young boys life.
Amount recommended
You should have a ‘Ways to Help Your Child’ card which explains the amount needed for whatever gift you are giving. If you have misplaced this please let me know and I can email you with the relevant card for your country.
How to give a gift
All you need do is put a donation into the bank you normally give into with a note saying your child’s name and what you are giving the extra gift for eg. Christmas, school or food. Please send an email to me [email protected] explaining how much you have given and what it is for. The bank accounts are not checked daily and so an email to me speeds the process up.
If you have a special request for the gift you wish your child to have you can mention this on the email.
Once the gift is delivered MKA staff take a photo and help your child write a letter to you. You will receive the letter and photo normally in mid-January when our staff return from their well-earned break over Christmas.
Your gift will show a child living in challenging circumstances that they are not forgotten and people from a long way away care about them.
