Metro Kids News October 25

This is amazing and nearly double the number of children who attended our MKA programmes last year. Thank you!

We are now looking at our plans for next year. We have reviewed our budget, and we are £37 000 short. We ask that if you are able, you give generously in the next few months so that by Christmas  we have reached our target to help all of us at MKA continue to fulfil the work we do.

This year we were unable to run our winter holiday programme in Cape Town due to financial constraints. And the children missed it!

Winters in Cape Town are cold, with heavy rain and often floods affecting the communities we work in.  Children look forward to the holiday club we run, where they receive a hot meal, play games, learn a Christian message each day and have a great time with their friends and all the MKA leaders. There are 500-600 children who attend daily. These holiday clubs are held in the most dangerous areas of Cape Town, where gangs have daily gun fights and children are abused. The holiday club provides a safe place for hundreds of children.

If you wish to donate to help MKA continue all the programmes and care for children and staff to a high standard, please donate using the links below.

Thank you and may God bless you
