We are thrilled that after a long national lockdown because of Coved-19 and the government elections, Ugandan schools are starting to open again. The team have been able to start work in some schools and churches and are planning and training together so they are prepared for the year ahead.
We hope that all the schools and churches we were working with before the lockdown, will be able to open up again, and also that the children will all be able to return. We will have to wait and see.
We still cannot open our After School Programmes because of the social distancing legislation in place. We are still visiting the children and families that we serve and are distributing a lot of food parcels to families in need.
